COMMON CAMP QUESTIONS

Find your answers HERE!!!

Q- What are my options if I can no longer attend camp the week I paid for?

A- The sooner we know, the better! The first thing we will try to do is schedule your camper to attend a different week that fits your schedule. This is dependent on the availability left for the desired week. If that option does not work, our next option is a refund minus the $50 non-refundable deposit as stated on the ordering page. A third option is to gift your spot to someone else and let another camper go in your spot.

Q- What does my camper need to bring and avoid bringing to camp?

A- Your camper needs 5 things at camp. A lunch, snack, 2 drinks (or refillable tumbler), OLD clothes and shoes that are ok to get messed up, and their "bag of supplies" that will be posted to our facebook page. This is a bag of things that are specifically for your camper to use to do certain projects, should they choose to do so.

Please avoid sending things like Ipads/tablets, video games, and personal toys. All the students belongings are on a spot in the hallway which is accessible to everyone and things can easily go missing. SuperKids cannot be held responsible for personal belongings.

Q- What is the protocol for picking up a camper early, dropping off late, or bringing an item up to my camper?

A- None of these things are a problem for SuperKids! We just need open communication from you about the possibility of you needing to drop off late, pick up early, or deliver an item. SuperKids is a closed campus during the day for the safety of the campers and workers. This means that our door remained locked until the end of day. So letting our workers know at drop off in the morning that you will need to return early or deliver and item works best. You may also contact our phone number during the day.

Q- I only paid the deposit. How and when do I pay the remainder of my camp fee?

A- There are a few different ways to pay the remaining balance of camp. If you want to pre-pay, you can use our paypal link. You MUST include your camper's name(s) and the camp dates you have chosen. You may also pre-pay with a check made out to Waycool Superkids by putting it in an envelope with your camper's name(s) and camp dates written on the outside of the envelope and then drop it off at Life Church Monday-Friday by placing it in the BACK of the mailbox under the carport.

Your other option of payment is to wait till the first morning of camp and pay at our registration table. We can only accept cash (exact change), check, or paypal as payment. we do not currently have the capability to take credit card payments.

Q- Where can I get updates and added information for my upcoming camp?

A- Your best bet on updates is on our Facebook page. We are more active there than on any other platform. That being said, you will receive an email with your placed order confirming your dates. Attached to that email is a link with the Medical Release Form that must be returned to us for your camper to attend. You can fill it out and email it back before camp or bring it the first morning of camp.

The list of items for your camper to bring will be pinned to the top of our Facebook page as soon as we assemble to list.

You can contact us through email or Facebook Messenger regarding changing your camp dates. You will not receive a separate email confirmation for a date change. The conversation with our staff approving the change is your confirmation.

There will be a Facebook post on drop off protocol usually the day before camp starts.

For fastest responses to questions, concerns, etc, message us through Facebook!

Q- What can we expect regarding behavior problems at Superkids?

A- We take behavioral issues very seriously at SuperKids! It is meant to be a place of fun, learning, and making friends for every camper!

1. If your camper expresses that another camper has been targeting them for any reason, please make this known to our staff as quickly as possible so we can address it. Please note that we are not allowed to discuss other campers with parents, but rest assured we will handle the situation!

2. If your camper is expressing behavioral issues such as hitting, kicking, biting, scratching, throwing objects, being destructive, refusal to listen to staff/directions, etc, our staff MUST take action. We believe in second chances and know sometimes kids just have "off" days, so our first attempt will always be to remove the camper from the situation and talk with them about why they are behaving that way and why it isn't accepted at SuperKids. If it continues and we see it as necessary, our next step will be to contact a parent to pick them up for the remainder of the day to give them a chance to reset and try again. If after all this, the camper continues to show problems, our last resort is to send the camper home for the rest of their week and refund $50 per day that they had left to attend that week. Please note, this is a very last resort. We do not wish to send anyone home, but it is sometimes necessary to give every camper the experience they deserve.

Q- What can I do to be ready for Day 1 of camp and rthe registration table?

A- Every camper is required to have a Medical Release Form filled out and on file each year for camp, even if they have attended in the past. You can find this form attached to your confirmation email AND as a tab at the bottom of the website's homepage. Filling this form out and returning it before hand via our email OR having it ready to go prior to the registration table will make the process much quicker. Also, having exact change or checks pre-written before registration is also a way to make check=in go quicker. EVERY student must be checked in via their parents at the registration table on the Monday morning of their camp week, NO EXCEPTIONS.
